Slow and Steady Wins the Race

Picked this up yesterday. Luke is pretty excited about it. It has a few more things that need to be done but he says he might be riding it this summer.

RIP Max

We had a death in the family. Will's Tybee Island crab, Max, passed on to greener pastures. We had a nice burial for him in the back yard. Will was a bit upset but he's moving on.

Valentine's Day

Roses from my love. How beautiful.

Everyone loves driving the ranger!

Chinese Champ

This guy likes to use chopsticks and he's getting pretty good at it!

Snow Day!

Snowman!  Using the snowman kit that Kathy Poor, my moms old neighbor, gave Will when he was just a little thing.

And...  That didn't last long. A short while later, poor Snowman being murdered...  Boys.

Micki Minaj

A while back - maybe a year ago or so we went out to eat, and a server who was waiting on the table next to us looked a LOT like Nicki Minaj, the singer/rapper.   We were talking about it throughout the meal, and as the two guys at that table were paying and getting ready to leave, Luke offered to pay Dane to say this to them....
Dane took Luke up on his offer, made some money, and it was hilarious.
(even more precious that he says "Micki Minaj" instead of Nicki Minaj)

My Little Artist

Videos..Gah!

Uploading videos to this blog has been such a struggle.  Switching to iphone from Android last summer didn't make things any easier.  grrrr.

Anyhoo!
I've been wanting to capture and upload this video for a long time.  On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I am able to be home to get the boys off the bus.  The two of them running from that bus is one of the sweetest things.  Every day they run.  Every day they have smiles.  And almost every day they're bursting to tell me something.  It might be that they "clipped up" (good behavior) or it might be one of them tattling on the other.  Whatever it is, I can't wait to hear it and see my sweet boys and hug them.  It's one of my favorite parts of the day.

Learning to read

This little sweetie. He got some new scholastic books and is excited to tear into them. Wonder where he gets it?

Will at 100

At the boys' school they have been celebrating their 100th day of school. Will brought this home:
"When I am at 100 I will play with my kids and grandkids and eat junk food and play video games and invent a now really fast Lamborghini or a Bugatti and rest. By Will"
Love it.
