I picked up Dane from school today and we came home to eat lunch. After lunch the dishwasher needed to be unloaded - I didn't have time to do it this morning. I told Dane that I'd like him to put the silverware away while I did the rest.
Dane: I don't want to!
Me: Yeah, I don't really want to either. But it needs to be done.
Dane: I do it EVERY DAY!
Me: No, actually I've been doing it every day. I haven't asked you to help in a while. So today I'd like you to help me.
Dane: But I don't want to!
Me: Well, we have to. I don't want to do it either.
Dane: Wellllllllll, .....we can have Will do it!
