Princess Garden

The Princess Garden is literally bursting with food right now. We have (endless, it seems) zucchini, cucumbers, okra, basil, cilantro, jalapenos, green peppers, and green beans. We have about one zillion green tomatoes. I can only imagine how many ripe tomatoes we will soon have. I see some serious salsa in our future. We also have the most beautiful sunflowers.

Our incredible garden makes me very appreciative that we live in a country where our food is so abundant. I also am so grateful that we live in a place where we have the space and land to grow this food. We have more food than we can consume and we hate to see it go to waste. Terri and I have been donating our excess to a local women's shelter. They seem very grateful for the donations.
