The Dunscombe's and the Paytons all piled into one car (yes, one car!) and headed up to Pentwater for the weekend. 4 adults and 4 kids. All in all everyone did great! All the kids are great travellers and if we wouldn't have had construction that took 31 down to 1 lane TWICE (over the 4th - what were they thinking!?!?) both our trips there and home would have been a breeze. We had a great time and did a lot. Normally we don't squeeze quite so much in, but with newbies up there we wanted to show them lots.
We hiked the Dune, walked to the outlet, had Girl Shopping (and Boy Naps), ate good food, played on the beach, P&C went kiyaking, visited with Ashley and her boyfriend, walked on the beach, enjoyed the most incredible sunset and sliver of a moon just in time for a beach fire while watching fireworks and eating smoores.
It was a great weekend!
