We had a great
weekend in Ohio. Fortunately the trip over was uneventful. I even managed to pump bottles for Dane while driving down the highway! Then we would stop to all eat and go to the bathroom (rather, change diapers). It worked like a charm. When we got into Columbus we met up with Stacy and her kids - Nolan, Hunter,
Baylee and Owen. We played with them for a few hours. The kids had a great time and it was great to catch up with Stacy of course. Then we went to the hotel to see Luke. Went to dinner that night. On Saturday we went to
Cosi, which Will loved. Wished we had more time to spend there. After that we went to Jennifer
Gribble's graduation party (the reason we went to Ohio). Dane got to meet a number of relatives for the first time. Here he is snuggling with "
BG" (Steve's mom).

(not sure why it's so small) We got pizza for dinner that night and hung around the hotel. We had planned to go to either King's Island or to the Columbus zoo on Sunday, but we just found out that we are very close to starting on the house (YAY!!!) so Luke decided to come home for a day to work on getting some things ready. So we got up and headed home Sunday morning. Overall the trip went great and I feel very accomplished having braved a roadtrip with a toddler and an infant by myself. Dane did such a good job and of course Will was a great traveller as usual. It was also really nice to get out of town for a few days.
